The Lord is Faithful!
One hurdle down. One more to go! The appointment on Monday went very good! It was a very hard and stressful day for Phillip, but Dr. Fink came in with good news to share. There has been no change or growth in the tumor. She even mentioned a couple of times that while she was speaking with the radiologist they were comparing it to the scans from 2008 when he finished chemo and they said it even looks better now!

Phillip has never once asked "why" this happened to him, but he has asked what God wants him to do with it? I of course say he wants him to be a fabulous husband and an even better father, but that is not really the answer I think he is looking for...so today he took some time out of his work day to go to a bible study to give his testimony and then headed off to the cancer center where he had his radiation treatments to just meet with people there and be able to give a bit of encouragement. It is our time now to continuing praising Jesus and giving GOD all the glory. He has continued to protect Phillip and us as a family! Every day I never cease to appreciate every moment, every second we have here on this earth together! I am blessed by Phillip and our LORD every single day...and I don’t forget that!

Now we just have one more tiny little hurdle...that is baby! He is coming whether we are ready or not. I still have a few weeks (hopefully) but I cannot wait to see Phillip become a father and hold that little baby for the first time! It will all be a very emotional moment for me!!!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for the prayers on Monday and the continued thoughts! We love getting messages on here from you so please drop us a line when you have time! It is very comforting knowing that you are thinking about us and praying for us!

Much love and God Bless!
Sara and Phillip

VERY important days ahead!!!
Hello blogging world! It has been A WHILE!!! Which is a good thing as usual that there is no new news to report! Many important days ahead that we would like to ask for your prayers for!!!

Most importantly on Monday Phillip has a 4 month MRI check up with Dr. Fink. Phillip has been working really hard keeping the yard looking good, painting a nursery, putting up crown molding, putting a crib together, moving furniture in/around, and just helping me get ready for baby's big debut! Oh and of course just work in general, might go ahead and add that in there to! So at times I am worrying that he is wearing himself out, but then again this is probably nothing compared to what we are about to encounter!!! Haha! So we ask of you to be in prayer for his appointment on Monday! It is a pretty big appointment to us since the baby is due in 4(ish) weeks. Just praying for a tumor that has made NO changes or the changes that is has made is a miracle of God that is smaller/gone!

Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

In all things God works for the good of those who love him as it tells us in Romans 8:28. When you are up against sickness, trials, or hurt that you don't understand, look for the way God is working for your good and your healing. Maybe you won't be able to see it- that's when you need to trust him. He promises to take care of you and heal you at just the right time. Phillip and I are constantly talking about how everything he/we have gone though is for a greater purpose. And Phillip knows that he is to encourage others and just give God's grace and mercy to those around him.

Now the next big thing on our list that we are asking for prayers for is of course baby! Baby Kasen is due around July 10th. So that means I have about 4ish more weeks left. I am finally out of work for a while and SUMMER is certainly here!!! It’s a great thing summer is here because I have TONS of work to do in the nursery! As I said earlier Phillip has been working so hard helping me get things ready and we will be using every minute of these last few weeks to put the finishing touches on everything! Of course we just ask for a healthy delivery and 100% healthy baby!!! We are also praying daily for not only Kasen himself but for us as parents! We pray that we will continually seek our Lords guidance and wisdom as parents!

I have really enjoyed and loved being pregnant! I really feel like I have been blessed with an easy pregnancy, so I pray that the last few weeks finish out this way! It is fun to feel him moving around! And I especially love it when his little feet finds my ribs! (ha-ha!) I know I will miss this feeling but will love so much more having him here actually to hold, love, and kiss!

Thank you so much for your prayers! Check back after Monday for an update on the appointment and anytime after that for any reports on Baby Kasen!

In HIS Grip,
Sara and Phillip

Philippians 4:4-7 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Phyllis, my mom, and I - I don't know why it is so pixelated? Really annoying! Sorry!

Last 2 weeks
The last two weeks have been amazing 2 weeks.

This was the first time to wait for 4 months for an MRI. That brought on a little extra anxiety for Phillip as we waited for that last month. But thanks to the provisions of our Lord above and your thoughts and prayers another good MRI scan! The scan again showed no signs of new growth and Dr. Fink said she is a little hesitant to say this for sure, but that it may even look a little bit better. We go back to see her again in 4 more months in June. With that news we had some celebrating to do! So...we headed out for ice cream! (haha)

Ice cream? You ask...? Well also within the last 2 weeks we got to see our baby boy that is on the way! = ) We will be welcoming Baby Kreymer around July 10th, I am currently 20 weeks. So half way there and have been feeling absolutly great! I am just thrilled for Phillip that he will get to be a daddy to a little boy (plus I know he will be a little hottie after his daddy! hehe!).

This is just yet another BLESSING through out our Blessed Trial!

Now as we journey along please add that to your prayers for for us and Phillip. Just pray for a healthy pregnancy and baby! And continued prayers of course for Phillips health as he has so much to look forward to!

In HIS grip,
Sara

Happy Snow Days and Happy Valentines day!
I have been in a lot of trouble for not updating this lately.

The last couple of days have been so fun with all this snow! I could SO live somewhere that the weather was like this more often! We both love this time of year and the weather it brings. We love bundling up and enjoying the environment!

Within the last few months we have heard of about 4 more people who have "joined our fraternity"...Phillip and I have been in prayer for everyone of them since we know what a long journey this road is! The first days of hearing the news, going through surgeries, having to go meet a neuro-oncologist, and then starting chemo and radiation. We have been reminded of so many feeling and emotions lately as we have been keeping up with each one. Although it seems like it was forever ago that we were right there, it also seems just like yesterday. Of course we are reminded of these emotions as well every 4 months now as we head in for Phillips MRI and visit with Dr. Fink. Which we head in on Monday for our update. This is the first 4 month update. Typically we had been going in every 3 months, but the last visit she said things are looking good and we can start pushing out the visit one more month. This extra month I think has brought a little bit more anxiety of just not knowing...but we are ready to meet with her on Monday and pray that we hear the same news that the tumor shows no growth! I know that Phillip and I have been so blessed! I know that God has many plans...BIG plans for Phillip future! I am so proud of him and everything he has gone through and all the things he has yet to do!

Please be in prayer for Monday specifically for peace, strength, a tumor that shows no growth or change, and for a miracle that the tumor is gone...which we know is the kind of miracle God can do! Please be in prayer as well for those brothers and sisters of ours that are going through this! Pray that God blesses them and they all show positive results throughout their treatments. I pray that they all keep their spirits and hopes high, for they have so much to look forward to in the future!

Happy Valentines day!

Much love and God bless!
In His grip,
Sara
